Game Times

It has been brought to my attention that there is some confusion with the allotted playing times for early and late games.

As rule 13-f in our constitution states: “The normal length of a game is 9 innings, however no new inning shall start after 95 minutes.”

This means that no new inning shall start after 8:05 pm for the early games and 9:50 pm for late games.

Please ensure that your team is ready to bat (in the on deck circle) and hustle on and off the field. This will allow every team the opportunity to play as many innings as possible in the allotted time. It is a better game all around when players are “in the game” and are willing to hustle.

Edit:
Please note – this is from the RCMSPL Constitution.

The GTCSPL Constitution states:

  1. Early games begin at 6:30 p.m. with a 10-minute grace period. No new inning may be started after 8:00 p.m.
  2. Late games begin at 8:15 p.m. with a 10-minute grace period. No new inning may be started after 9:45 pm.
